Strategic additive manufacturing for energetic materials – engineered for controlled workflows, security, and safe unmanned productions.
The Raplas NRG series enables controlled, safe processing of advanced Energetic compositions from early development through to certified production.
The NRG series provides a secure, end‑to‑end platform for developing and producing Energetic materials. It supports licensed users from early formulation and parameter definition through to validated, high‑volume manufacture of ultra-high yield Energetic compositions.
Under a Ministry of Defence programme, Raplas is working with BAE Systems and Radnor Range to develop Div 1, Class 1 production units capable of safely processing next‑generation Energetic compositions engineered to meet specific performance requirements.
Covering applications from propellants to high explosives, the NRG platform produces light weight, ultra-high yield compositions shaped to ignite and burn in a controlled manner not achievable by any other means.

A secure three-stage workflow designed to move from controlled testing to repeatable production – without compromising safety or traceability.
1) Controlled formulation testing
Evaluate energetic material formulations in a controlled environment, with process parameters and outputs captured for fast and safe processing of the composition.
2) Live composition part building
Build Energetic components to enable live testing and prove out composition and geometries to achieve the perfect burn curve.
3) Commercial Mass Production
Certified Div 1 Class 1 3D printers designed for mass production in munitions factories.

Raplas is a UK company supporting defence and security supply chains where supplier assurance, traceability, and information security are essential.
Raplas welcomes collaboration with defence and security stakeholders seeking scalable, secure additive manufacturing for energetic materials.
